The Badminton Team came Second in the Zonal Badminton Championship.

The School was established by the Management Committee of Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Model Town, Delhi, in July 1974,  with a view to provide an institution with a modern approach to education on public school lines as well as inculcating in its students the lofty ideals of the Sikh religion and deriving inspiration from the life of the ninth Sikh Guru whose supreme sacrifice was witnessed by Delhi a few centuries ago.       

Today the School aims at providing value oriented quality education in English medium to the children of desirous residents of Model Town and in it’s vicinity. A sapling with a meagre strength of students in the beginning, it  has  with steady progress developed into a robust tree producing students with a balanced personality, steeped in spiritual values and who are responsible citizens of the country.

The school’s objective is to provide quality education to fulfil national objectives as envisaged in the National Policy of education, 1986.  In addition to academic excellence, the school aims at development of physical, intellectual, moral and aesthetic potential of the students through co-curricular activities.
