The School was established by the Management Committee of Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Model Town, Delhi, in July 1974, with a view to provide an institution with a modern approach to education on public school lines as well as inculcating in its students the lofty ideals of the Sikh religion and deriving inspiration from the life of the ninth Sikh Guru whose supreme sacrifice was witnessed by Delhi a few centuries ago. |
