For classes I to VIII, the syllabi have been laid down by the school as per NCERT framework. For classes IX to XII, the CBSE syllabi is followed. The school offers Science ( Medical and Non-Medical), Commerce and Humanities streams at the +2 stage. The curriculum includes work experience programmes like Computer Application, Socially Useful Productive Work etc. Physical and Health Education Programmes and adequate facilities for both outdoor and indoor games are also available. Educational trips, camps, picnics and excursions are arranged for all classes. |

To foster a healthy spirit of competition amongst students, inter-school, zone and inter-zone competitions in various activities such as Sports, Debate, Declamation, Essay-Writing, Art Music and Dance are held regularly. Other activities include the Annual School Magazine ‘Rooprekha’, School Fete, Students’ Council, Excursions, NIE and PACE Programmes and Eco-club. |

During every academic year, the total outcome of the Progress made by the students is evaluated through regular and continuous assessment comprising of continuous assessment comprising of unit tests, term ending text and annual examination. For Promotion the student must get at least 33% marks in every subject and 40% marks in aggregate. |

The medium of instruction is English, Hindi/Punjabi is taught as compulsory language up to class X, Punjabi is prescribed as the third language for classes VI to VIII. |
